• It All Started With Love

It all started with one of my baby’s first words—“Quero.”

Becoming a mother changed everything. I left my job to be fully present with my son, Francisco—the greatest gift of my life.

That leap of love gave birth to Project Quero: a way to care for others through food, while staying close to him.

Every dish I make is a reflection of that choice—to love, to nurture, to share.

    From My Grandmother’s Kitchen

My grandmother was the heart of our family. Watching her cook—meals prepared slowly, with laughter and stories—taught me that food is memory.

Today, my son shares that same sparkle in his eyes when he smells garlic frying or tastes a just-baked queijada.

At Project Quero, we don’t just serve meals. We share heritage. Every dish carries the essence of Madeira, lovingly prepared by hands that respect time, ingredients, and tradition.
